GEAR UP for Greatness

The Academic Achievement and Family Engagement Banquet celebrates the accomplishments of 9th-grade GEAR UP students, recognizing their academic success while promoting persistence and meaningful family involvement. During the event, the Hinton Area Foundation will commend students for their achievements and provide information about available scholarship opportunities, highlighting how continued academic success can enhance eligibility for postsecondary funding. A representative from the Hinton Area Foundation will attend as a special guest.

GEAR UP for Greatness: 9th Grade Academic Achievement Banquet is an invitation-only event. Students must meet eligibility requirements by May 11, 2026. Attendance is limited to qualifying students and their families.
